General Manager

The General Manager will lead the operations of a hospitality establishment in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. This role involves strategic and operational management, driving revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic and operational management of the establishment.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and business performance.
• Oversee all hotel departments and ensure operational excellence.
• Maintain exceptional guest experience and service standards.
• Manage budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Lead and develop departmental heads and employees.
• Drive business development and corporate client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with hospitality, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve escalated guest complaints and drive continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in hospitality operations.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior management/General Management role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong experience managing multiple departments and leading teams.
• Demonstrable experience in revenue growth, profitability, guest experience, and operational management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
