About the role
B2B Community Manager
Build and manage an active business community comprising SMEs, startups, founders, finance teams, agencies, and strategic partners. Design community-led initiatives that strengthen customer relationships, increase product adoption, improve retention, and generate valuable insights for business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a B2B community strategy across LinkedIn, Slack, Telegram, and other relevant platforms
- Plan webinars, workshops, networking sessions, and community events that support customer education and product adoption
- Identify and nurture community ambassadors, strategic partners, and power users who can strengthen brand advocacy
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to address customer needs and improve the user experience
- Track member acquisition, engagement, retention, event participation, and the commercial impact of community initiatives
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's Degree
- 1–3 years experience managing a B2B, startup, professional, or customer-focused community
- Demonstrable experience growing an engaged community and delivering measurable outcomes
- Practical knowledge of CRM, email marketing, and community platforms such as HubSpot, Slack, Telegram, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian startup, SME, technology, or fintech ecosystem
- Excellent relationship-building, public speaking, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 monthly
