Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A leading MEP Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead HVAC design, MEP BIM coordination, and the technical delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects — from concept through construction and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead full HVAC design (chilled water, VRF/VRV, AHU/FAHU/FCU, smoke management, ventilation systems), including load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Design plumbing (domestic water, drainage) and fire protection systems (NFPA-compliant sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, clean agent).
• Develop and coordinate BIM models (Revit MEP, LOD 200–400); run clash detection in Navisworks.
• Prepare tender, IFC, shop, and as-built documentation, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients; mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid COREN registration (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years' experience with a leading MEP Contractor.
• Strong working knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC/UPC, and CIBSE standards.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and HAP.
