Accountant (Microfinance Bank)
Skache Integrated Services Limited is seeking a qualified Accountant to join a microfinance bank. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and process daily financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and maintain the general ledger
- Monitor income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and capital accounts
- Perform bank, customer, loan, and investment reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and microfinance banking requirements
- Support internal and external audits and preparation of regulatory reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis
- Process payments and financial transactions while ensuring proper approvals
- Monitor liquidity and identify financial risks or control gaps
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a microfinance bank, bank, or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory compliance, and Microsoft Excel
- ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent certification is an added advantage

Salary N400,000 - N450,000 per month
