About the role
Administrative Support Officer
Deloitte is seeking an Administrative Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative assistance across departments. This role ensures smooth office operations through managing correspondence, scheduling, data entry, and supporting day-to-day office tasks while maintaining a highly organized and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily administrative activities and ensure smooth office operations
- Manage appointment scheduling and meetings for department heads and senior staff
- Organize and maintain office records and files in compliance with data protection regulations
- Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Coordinate logistics for events, meetings, and conferences
- Serve as point of contact for internal and external communication (phone, email, in-person)
- Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence including emails, memos, and reports
- Relay messages between departments and ensure proper follow-up
- Assist in processing invoices and tracking departmental expenses
- Support financial report preparation and vendor invoice management
- Support scheduling of meetings, appointments, and related activities
- Prepare documentation and materials for meetings
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality standards and medical records management
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred)
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (advantageous)
Experience:
- 1-4 years of administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare
- Proven ability to manage administrative functions including scheduling and office management
- Experience with healthcare management software (advantageous)
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Familiarity with office software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
- Understanding of basic accounting and procurement principles
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Customer service orientation and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Professional Certifications:
- Administrative or healthcare-related certification (e.g., Medical Office Administration) is a plus
