Cashier

We are recruiting an experienced Cashier for our grocery store. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing friendly, welcoming service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately operate POS systems, scanners, and cash registers to handle cash, checks, credit cards, and digital payments
• Greet customers, answer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain a welcoming environment
• Count and reconcile cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, maintaining accurate records
• Scan items, verify prices, weigh produce, and bag or wrap items
• Verify age for restricted items (alcohol/tobacco) and follow all company safety procedures

Requirements

• BSc, HND, or OND qualification in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Smart and proactive approach
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must reside close to the business area (Ojodu-berger)

Salary

₦80,000 – ₦90,000 per month

Work Schedule

• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night shift: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
