Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer

The Today for Tomorrow Initiative (TFT) is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to design, implement, and manage the project's MEL framework in alignment with MSI Nigeria standards and project objectives. The role involves overseeing data collection, ensuring data quality, analyzing performance metrics, and producing reports to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the project's MEL framework
• Formulate, field-test, and standardize data collection tools and databases
• Lead data collection processes across five target LGAs
• Perform regular data quality assessments and verification
• Track project indicators and referral pathways
• Analyze field data and compile M&E reports
• Document lessons learned and best practices
• Ensure compliance with donor and organizational reporting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Demography, Public Health, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on M&E experience in donor-funded public health or protection projects
• Expertise in designing M&E frameworks and data collection instruments
• Proficiency in mobile data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare)
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, Excel, Power BI)
• Strong background in conducting DQA and managing referral tracking systems
• High analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and strong data visualization skills
• Fluency in English and working knowledge of local languages spoken in Adamawa
