Senior Sales Manager – Industrial Chemicals

Vantegral Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand market share in the industrial chemicals sector. This is a leadership role requiring proven B2B sales expertise, team management capability, and a deep understanding of industrial chemical products and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across manufacturing, oil & gas, FMCG, construction, paints & coatings, plastics, and water treatment sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Lead negotiations, prepare commercial proposals, and close high-value deals
  • Manage and grow key customer accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to management
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and technical teams for seamless service delivery
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve departmental objectives
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within industrial chemicals
  • 2–3 years in a Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, or similar leadership position
  • Proven experience managing and developing a sales team
  • Strong understanding of industrial chemical products, applications, and market dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
