Accountant

Residency Hotels Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, manage daily accounting operations, and provide financial insights supporting business growth across our hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
• Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial control measures
• Conduct inventory audits and reconcile inventory records with operational departments
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting activities
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory filings
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Assist management in making informed financial decisions through timely reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality industry experience is an added advantage
