Pump Technician

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of retail filling station equipment. Provides technical support to customers, collaborates with internal teams, and contributes to knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of retail filling station equipment.
• Identify and resolve technical issues using diagnostic techniques and tools.
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing clear explanations and solutions.
• Resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior technicians or experts.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and customer interactions.
• Contribute to and update the knowledge base, sharing expertise with the team.
• Work with internal teams, such as development, sales, or marketing, to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in training and development to stay up-to-date with new technologies and products.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent future technical issues.
• Timely and appropriate reporting of these activities to the supervisor.
• Interfacing with the team leads and the head of unit.

Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Experience in dispensing pumps and electric motors will be an added advantage.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• High cognitive & organizational skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of related Health and Safety Standards.
