Accountant (FMCG)

We are seeking a business-savvy accountant with prior FMCG sector experience to join J-Six Group's branches. This role involves supporting management decision-making through financial monitoring, inventory management, and comprehensive accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in decision-making by monitoring budgets and financial forecasts
• Coordinate weekly and monthly stocktaking
• Examine financial records for accuracy
• Ensure efficient cash management and banking activities
• Handle stock reconciliation and inventory monitoring
• Collect and analyze data for weekly and monthly estimates
• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements (balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow statements, capital expenditure schedules)
• Produce management reports
• Generate monthly P&L reports and variance reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance
• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICMA, ICAN, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality or FMCG sector
• Proficiency in Excel
• High integrity and confidentiality standards
• Business acumen
• Detail-oriented with expert knowledge of GAAP accounting procedures and financial reporting practices
