Investment Manager / Head of Investment and Treasury

Lead investment strategy and treasury operations for a dynamic organization, driving sustainable growth through sound investment decisions and effective asset management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities that maximize returns while managing risk
• Prepare and present investment proposals, divestment cases, and portfolio performance reports to Executive Management and the Board
• Utilize financial models to forecast investment performance and assess investment strategy robustness
• Monitor investment portfolios and market trends, making timely recommendations
• Conduct periodic investment research and provide actionable insights to the Investment Committee
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets and investment products (fixed income, equities, other instruments)
• Develop analytical processes and data systems to support informed decision-making
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships through effective communication and reporting
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing investment team

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, or related discipline
• Master's degree from a reputable institution (preferred)
• Relevant professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CISI/CIS, or equivalent)

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience
• At least 8 years in the financial services sector
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership or supervisory role
