About the role

Sales Advisor - Gas Tech Equipment

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Advisor to grow Gas Tech Equipment orders in Nigeria by maximizing profitability and increasing market share.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Gas Tech Equipment orders with assigned customers and hit annual Orders Plan while securing profitable orders
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and EPCs by understanding their needs
  • Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of Baker Hughes offerings
  • Maximize competitiveness of Baker Hughes solutions to achieve target market share according to company strategy
  • Foster commercialization of new products and technologies in coordination with Strategy & Growth team
  • Contribute to annual budget forecasting to meet regional sales objectives
  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and monitor new products and competition status
  • Engage, influence and drive multiple external and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (preferably in Engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Oil & Gas market
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment such as rotating equipment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage, influence and drive multiple external and internal stakeholders
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively
  • Completed NYSC (National Youth Service Corps)
