Operations – Electrical Engineering Technician I

Role Overview

ABNL Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support field electrical maintenance activities and electrical isolation procedures for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors.
• Supervise contractors and ensure safe work practices.
• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors.
• Ensure work starts as scheduled and escalate unresolved issues to the First Line Supervisor (FLS).
• Monitor contractors’ work quality to ensure compliance with Maintenance Procedure & Practice (MPP).
• Provide daily progress updates to the FLS and planner.
• Obtain FLS approval before implementing changes.
• Verify and accept completed work.
• Support electrical isolation activities, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO).

Requirements

• Previous experience in a closely related position.
• Relevant technical certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
• Effective communication and field reporting skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
