Merchandising Officer

A dynamic and energetic individual is needed to promote leading consumer brands across Southern Nigeria. This role involves executing marketing campaigns, setting up promotional stations, and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Execute market, street, school, and retail activation campaigns.
• Merchandise products in line with company standards.
• Set up branded promotional and product sampling stations.
• Conduct consumer education and product sampling activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors.
• Ensure excellent product visibility and compliance with approved pricing.
• Distribute promotional materials and gather market intelligence.
• Submit accurate daily digital field reports using a smartphone.
• Properly maintain company uniforms, merchandising equipment, and promotional materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Must be fluent in Nigerian Pidgin English.
• Basic smartphone proficiency.
• Valid means of identification.
• Must reside in Asaba or its environs.
• Must be willing to travel extensively across Southern Nigeria.

Salary

• Earn up to ₦200,000 monthly, comprising:
  • Weekly Field Support: ₦2,000 per working day (approximately ₦40,000/month) for meals and field expenses.
  • Performance-Based Earnings: Up to ₦160,000/month based on attendance, KPI achievement, compliance, and program completion.
