Field Support Engineer (Onsite Technical Support)

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Onsite Technical Support (Field Support Engineer) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot internet connectivity solutions for customers. The ideal candidate will ensure prompt resolution of technical issues while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain internet connectivity equipment.
• Troubleshoot network, internet, and hardware-related issues on-site.
• Configure routers, switches, and customer premises equipment (CPE).
• Conduct site visits for installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities.
• Provide technical support and educate customers on equipment usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in field technical support or ISP operations.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and networking.
• Experience configuring networking devices such as routers and switches.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Professional networking certifications are an added advantage.
