Senior Driver, G3

UNICEF is seeking a Senior Driver, G3 to provide high-level, secure, and professional driving services to the Head of Office. This role extends beyond basic transportation to include coordination with internal and external stakeholders, knowledge of diplomatic and UN protocols, digital tracking systems proficiency, and client-service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and safe driving services to senior leadership
• Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while adhering to diplomatic and UN protocols
• Maintain vehicle readiness, perform basic maintenance, and respond to incidents
• Operate digital tracking and monitoring systems
• Provide administrative and logistical support as needed
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior drivers
• Contribute to continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Secondary education
• Valid driver's license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Minimum 3 years relevant driving experience in an international organization, embassy, or UN system
• Safe driving record
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of protocol compliance, safe driving practices, vehicle tracking systems, and vehicle maintenance

Desirable Qualifications:

• Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or local language
• Experience with VIP protocol, airport meeting protocol, emergency response, and first-aid certification
• Relevant experience in development, fragile settings, and humanitarian contexts
