Auto-Electrician (Rewire)

Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical faults in vehicles. This role involves carrying out complete vehicle rewiring, installing and maintaining vehicle electrical components, and ensuring all repairs meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in vehicles.
• Carry out complete vehicle rewiring and repair damaged electrical wiring systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair vehicle electrical components, including batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and wiring harnesses.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to identify faults and ensure proper functionality.
• Read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Maintain and repair vehicle electronic systems and related electrical accessories.
• Use appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical problems.
• Ensure all repairs and installations are completed safely and in line with industry standards.
• Maintain proper records of repairs, maintenance, and replaced components.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Auto-Electrician, particularly in vehicle rewiring.
• Good knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
• Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality results.
• Relevant technical training or certification will be an added advantage.
