Backend Software Engineer

Escrow-Tech Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join the AfWS Eko Atlantic City Tier-III Data Centre project.

Role Overview

Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend applications supporting critical infrastructure in a production environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' backend software engineering experience in production
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one of: Node.js, Go, or Java
• Experience building RESTful APIs, WebSocket services, and message broker integrations (MQTT, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
• Ability to develop scalable, secure, and well-tested backend applications

Salary

₦500,000 – ₦800,000 gross per month (based on experience)
