About the role

Court Reporter Trainee (Stenography)

The Delta State Judiciary is seeking highly educated, detail-oriented and committed individuals to be trained as Court Reporters. Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive 24-month intensive training programme (provided free of charge) in stenography to capture verbatim records of court proceedings.

Responsibilities

Capture verbatim records of court proceedings using stenography
Maintain accurate and detailed court records

Requirements

Bachelor's degree/HND in any discipline
Excellent command of the English language
Strong listening and attention to detail skills
High level of discipline and dedication
No prior experience required

Venue: Model Secondary School, G.R.A, Asaba
