Small Mammal Conservation Organization (SMACON) is seeking a reliable Driver to safely transport staff, guests, and field equipment between the office and designated locations across Southern Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, guests, and field equipment between the office and designated locations
• Navigate routes across core project areas; knowledge of additional routes in Southern Nigeria is an advantage
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean, well-organised vehicle at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (NECO/WAEC) or equivalent
• Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence
• Defensive driving skills and strong situational awareness
• Reliability, punctuality, and a disciplined approach to vehicle care
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic offences within the last 3 years
• First Aid certification is an advantage; willingness to undertake training is required
