About the role
Power Platform Developer
Infinion Technologies is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and deliver end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, with the ability to build custom React/TypeScript applications when low-code approaches are insufficient.
Responsibilities
- Build solutions across Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate flows, Power BI dashboards, and Power Virtual Agents
- Apply in-depth Power Apps customization, configuration, integration, and extensibility expertise
- Collect and identify functional requirements with stakeholders
- Identify and document product bugs and potential security vulnerabilities
- Own full delivery of features and solutions: Dataverse/SQL data models, UX, business logic, automation, and integrations
- Make and justify low-code vs pro-code decisions based on speed, maintainability, and fit
- Build custom web and mobile experiences in React/TypeScript with robust API integration when required
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, environment management, and release practices
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, write tests, and produce reusable components and documentation
- Refine requirements directly with business stakeholders and iterate solutions based on feedback
- Embed security-by-design principles and ensure data handling complies with regional data-protection requirements (NDPR, Ghana DPA, Kenya DPA 2019, Zambia DPA 2021)
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Proven end-to-end delivery across Power Platform/Dynamics 365 AND custom React/TypeScript applications
- Strong Dataverse and data-modelling skills
- Experience with integrations (REST, connectors, APIs)
- Working CI/CD and ALM practices (source control, pipelines, environments)
- Sound engineering judgment on standardization vs custom builds
- PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) certification or equivalent demonstrable pro-code experience
Nice-to-Have:
- Azure integration services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management)
- Experience productizing reusable components and accelerators
- Performance-tuning and accessibility experience
Success Measures
- Solutions delivered on time and to estimate with minimal rework
- Low escaped-defect rate in production with healthy automated-test coverage
- Build decisions remain sound over time with low re-architecture and technical-debt costs
