Logistics Officer (Corporate Sales)

Dangote is seeking a Logistics Officer to manage bulk cement dispatch operations, track assets, and ensure timely delivery to corporate clients and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Validate daily dispatch plans and monitor shipment progress across customer geofences
• Support truck allocation, routing optimization, and delivery timeline management
• Liaison between corporate sales teams, transport units, and customers
• Monitor inventory levels at customer sites and flag stock shortages or overstock situations
• Track and report on logistics KPIs including delivery turnaround time, order fulfillment rate, and truck utilization
• Manage EPOD processes and maintain accurate records for invoicing and compliance
• Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-reduction improvements
• Resolve delivery issues, complaints, and service disruptions efficiently

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–6 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or sales operations
• Experience with bulk deliveries, project logistics, or industrial distribution preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with high accountability and proactive approach
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
