Senior Account Officer

Quality Foods Africa is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Account Officer to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, payments, accruals, and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Monitor and properly allocate expenses.
• Support Accounts Payable and Receivable activities.
• Review transactions and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and tax regulations.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and filing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or similar role.
• Experience in QSR, retail, FMCG, hospitality, or other multi-site businesses is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• ICAN, ACCA, or relevant professional certification/progress toward certification is an added advantage.
