Postscript is an AI messaging platform trusted by over 20,000 Shopify brands. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to help customers bring their conversational commerce vision to life. You will demo advanced use cases, manage proof of concepts, and serve as a technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on the Postscript platform and its integrations
• Help customers extend their strategy into email alongside SMS
• Use AI tools to accelerate discovery calls, demo prep, and content creation
• Support the sales team in helping prospects understand what they can achieve with Postscript
• Lead technical discovery calls with prospects and document new requests for the Product team
• Work with account executives to prepare demos showcasing advanced capabilities
• Execute the delivery of POCs for complex use cases
• Offer support and guidance to customers and partners using APIs for integrations
• Create technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
• Act as a creative problem solver and collaborate with partners building technical integrations

Requirements

• At least 3 years in a revenue-driving, customer-facing technical role
• Ecommerce knowledge and past experience required, Shopify ecosystem highly preferred
• Experience working with top-tier Shopify/ecommerce brands
• Customer-first attitude
• Technical proficiency with front-end web technologies and API integrations
• Passion for AI and experience using AI tools in your workflow
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex ideas
• Detail-oriented and curious
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Salary USD $120,000-$140,000 base plus variable compensation & significant equity
