IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, cybersecurity, and technical support operations. The role ensures that all IT systems are secure, reliable, efficient, and aligned with the organization’s business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, networks, and communication systems.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.
• Manage user accounts, access controls, permissions, and IT security measures.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Ensure regular data backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers, software licenses, and technology contracts.
• Monitor and maintain IT assets and ensure proper inventory records.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and acceptable-use standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and information security requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT systems, processes, and overall operational efficiency.
• Prepare IT reports, budgets, and recommendations for management.
• Lead and supervise IT support staff where applicable.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions for the organization.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, and software systems.

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple IT projects and priorities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, networking, and cloud-based systems.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
