About the role

Project Supervisor

A Project Supervisor is needed to oversee the installation and quality control of CCTV systems across various telecom sites in Nigeria. The role involves managing teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and maintaining detailed records.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and verify CCTV installation works against approved technical drawings, site survey data and installation standards.
  • Inspect camera mounting, alignment, cabling, power connections, grounding, weatherproofing and terminations.
  • Verify camera field of view, focus and image quality before site sign-off.
  • Conduct QC checks at pre-installation, mid-installation and post-installation stages.
  • Conduct QA audits and document defects, deviations and non-conformances.
  • Maintain QC/QA logs, punch lists and site close-out reports.
  • Provide daily/weekly progress reports, including QC results and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, installation teams and regional leads to resolve technical or logistical challenges.
  • Maintain photographic and documentary evidence for audit and client submission.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and report hazards, injuries and unsafe conditions promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng) or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in field project supervision, preferably with CCTV or electronic security system installations within the Nigerian telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, power systems including grid, generator and solar integrations at cell sites and basic computing/networking.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage community relations and prevent site disruptions.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively to remote and urban telecom sites.
