Intern Video Journalist

MAINLAND Africa is seeking an Intern Video Journalist to help tell engaging stories about Africa. The role involves researching and pitching story ideas, writing scripts, conducting interviews, presenting on camera, shooting and editing short-form videos, and supporting documentaries and YouTube content.

Responsibilities

• Research and pitch story ideas
• Write scripts and conduct interviews
• Present on camera
• Shoot and edit short-form videos
• Support documentaries and YouTube content

Requirements

• Curious with strong research and storytelling skills
• Comfortable speaking and appearing on camera
• Able to shoot/edit videos
• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram & YouTube
• Interested in African business, tech, money, culture, travel & history

Salary From ₦150,000/month
