DRIVER

Bernol Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to support the efficient distribution of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) to customers and retail outlets. The Driver will be responsible for safe transportation of goods, timely deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to company policies and road safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles for delivery and distribution of FMCG products
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers, distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets
• Verify loaded products against delivery notes, invoices, and dispatch documentation before departure
• Assist in loading and unloading products where necessary
• Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery for all completed deliveries
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure vehicles are in good operating condition
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while complying with traffic laws and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and delivery activities
• Ensure security and proper handling of products during transportation
• Support warehouse and logistics operations as required
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years' driving experience, preferably in FMCG distribution or logistics operations
• Good knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations
• Ability to read and understand delivery documentation
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading activities
• Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and reliability
• Excellent driving and road safety skills
• Time management and punctuality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

Salary: NGN 70,000 - 150,000 per month
