Sales Team Lead

Ignite Energy Access, Africa's leading distributed renewable energy provider, is seeking a Sales Team Lead to join the Mysol Sales team. The role involves recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales agents to sell solar products efficiently within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and oversee a minimum of 20 active sales agents monthly
• Manage the sales process of Mysol products to potential and new customers
• Supervise sales transactions and ensure timely, accurate remittance of proceeds
• Take ownership of credit follow-ups and collection for credit-based sales
• Oversee and manage assigned company tools of trade
• Utilize allocated funds judiciously to support sales activities
• Formulate and execute operational sales strategies aligned with area targets
• Coordinate and lead field sales activities to meet targets and maintain quality standards
• Provide training and coaching to sales agents (pitching, closing, customer relationships)
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to sales agents
• Support monthly inventory audits for service center and POS locations

Requirements

• ND/HND/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 1–2 years of related sales experience; solar product sales experience highly preferred
• Must reside in the location
• Car or motorbike for mobility is a plus
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Good communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and adapt to changing priorities
• Fluent in English

Salary ₦200,000 – ₦600,000 monthly (base pay + performance-based commission)
