Management Accountant

Velvot is seeking a Management Accountant to provide accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for subsidiaries and Head office with variance analysis and actionable recommendations
• Produce financial dashboards, KPIs, and support month-end/year-end closing activities
• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, and profitability by products, services, projects, customers, and business units
• Monitor project costs against budgets and track project profitability and utilization
• Review project revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards
• Analyze operating expenses and vendor contracts from a financial perspective
• Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with financial policies, and support audits
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Project Managers, Procurement, and HR to provide financial guidance
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements
• Improve financial reporting processes and automate reports where possible
• Enhance ERP reporting capabilities (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification (or part qualification)
• Minimum of 4–7 years' experience in management accounting or financial analysis
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• High attention to detail and strong business partnering skills
• Experience in IT, technology, telecommunications, or professional services is an advantage
