Accountant - Sango

LEAM Consulting Limited is hiring an Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations for a retail business. You'll maintain accurate financial records, reconcile daily sales, track inventory, and prepare financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily sales and cashier records, matching cash, POS, and transfer transactions across all terminals
• Work with store and inventory teams to track stock levels, monitor shrinkage, and post inventory adjustments to the ledger
• Maintain accurate vendor and supplier accounts, process invoices, and track payments due
• Post daily accounting entries, manage petty cash, and assist in preparing balance sheets and income statements
• Generate weekly and monthly sales, expense, and profit reports for supermarket management

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in retail or supermarket industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory) and basic accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP)
• High attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and strong problem-solving skills
