Accountant – GTI Consult

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to provide strategic financial leadership, drive operational excellence, and mentor our finance team. This is a senior finance role requiring both technical expertise and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals
• Provide actionable financial insights to the executive team to drive strategic decision-making
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
• Optimize cash flow management and lead cost reduction initiatives
• Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering accountability and high performance
• Liaise with external partners (banks, investors, auditors) and present financial reports to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role
• MBA or professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) highly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, risk management, and compliance standards
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
• Experience leading high-performing teams and driving organizational change
• Advanced Excel proficiency and financial software experience
