Account Officer

Fronthill Limited is seeking an Account Officer to handle various financial tasks and ensure accurate record-keeping. The role involves reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
• Working with Accounts Payable to ensure that cashbook transactions are submitted timely for capture into the accounting system.
• Accurate recording of financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Performance of bank reconciliations on a regular and timely basis.
• Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
• Identifying and resolving errors in financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Inputting data into financial spreadsheets.
• Prepare invoices for approval.
• Provision of support during statutory financial audits.
• Other tasks assigned by the Supervisor that are relevant to the position.

Requirements

• A Degree in Accounting or other related courses.
• 3-4 work experience in accounting/bookkeeping practice.
• Membership with ICAN, CFA, ACCA or CMA is an added advantage.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, especially QuickBooks.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take instructions accurately.
• Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
• Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
