Truck Driver

Responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations, inspecting vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with traffic laws. Must have a valid driver's license and experience in heavy-duty truck driving.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods to designated locations.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and report any faults.
• Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the assigned truck.
• Comply with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Keep accurate trip logs and delivery documentation.
• Must be familiar with Delta State routes and surrounding environs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (appropriate class for truck driving).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to keep accurate delivery and vehicle records.
• Physically fit and responsible.
• Must reside in Asaba or be willing to relocate.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with minimal supervision.
