Procurement Service Advisor
The Procurement Service Advisor provides procurement advisory support under supervision in the Upstream Sector of the Nigeria Oil & Gas Industry. This role involves managing supplier relationships, processing RFQs, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Executing Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Electronic RFXs processing and management.
- Managing suppliers of materials.
- Processing Requests for Quotation (RFQ) received on assigned accounts.
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers.
- Validating purchase order documents.
- Follow up on all submitted RFQs.
- Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders on all RFQS and purchase orders (POs).
- Ensuring effective documentation of documents relating to each transaction.
- Maintaining comprehensive filing system, soft and hard copies.
- Maintaining high degree of confidentiality of company documents.
- Assisting to ensure effective management of logistics on all orders.
- Ensuring reports on accounts are produced and disseminated as and when due.
- Error-free computation of cost (Ex-works and DDP) of goods on MS Excel.
- Carrying out other tasks that may be assigned by the SCM from time to time.
Requirements
- A good university Degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field.
- Good grasp of Supply Chain Process in Upstream Oil and Gas.
- At least two years’ cognate experience.
- RFQ Sourcing and Processing skill.
- Reporting skill.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skill.
- Good multi-tasking skills.
- MS Office skills.
