Group Operations Manager

The Group Operations Manager oversees all factory production, maintenance operations, and administration across multiple locations, ensuring low downtimes, efficient production planning, and achievement of organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise entire workflow of factory, admin, and sales operations
• Ensure scheduled maintenance of all machinery to prevent breakdowns
• Develop production planning and schedules with production and maintenance teams based on demand and inventory levels
• Set up and implement operating and quality standards
• Supervise and evaluate personnel performance; identify and execute training needs
• Manage inventory with comprehensive and transparent procedures
• Manage customer relationships, ensure quality service delivery, and drive business development
• Ensure timely financial reporting
• Determine necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)

Requirements

• B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Business Management, or related field
• Minimum 15 years senior management experience, preferably in steel manufacturing
• Experience overseeing factory operations and sales outlets
• Currently reside in Iyana-Ipaja, Ikeja, Alimosho LGA or environs (Lagos)
• Ready for physical interview within one week
• High level of integrity, hardworking, target-oriented
• Preferably worked in organized steel manufacturing companies with established systems and procedures

Location

Based in Lagos, overseeing operations in Iyana-Ipaja (Lagos), Nteje, and Ekwulummili (Anambra State).
