Cosmetic Product Development & Business Manager

Job Overview

The Cosmetic Product Development & Business Manager will lead the development and commercialization of cosmetic products from concept to market. This role requires a blend of cosmetic formulation expertise, project management, and business strategy to drive innovation and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead cosmetic product development from formulation to commercial launch.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct research on cosmetic trends, ingredients, and market opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, GMP, and industry standards.
• Coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Support product pricing, commercialization, and go-to-market activities.
• Develop business strategies to grow the Cosmetics Department and identify new revenue-generating opportunities.
• Present project updates, business cases, and strategic recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field with 5–6 years' experience in cosmetic product development or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, ingredient science, NAFDAC registration, and GMP.
• Proven experience managing products from concept to commercial launch.
• Strong business strategy, commercial planning, and revenue generation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities beyond routine project execution.
• Cosmetics manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
