Business Developer - Pay with Transfer

PalmPay is seeking a Business Developer to drive growth for its Pay with Transfer product by identifying merchants, building relationships, and enhancing product adoption across Kwara.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target key merchants across various market segments for Pay with Transfer, merchant loans, and online payment solutions using online directories, industry gatherings, and referrals
• Initiate connections with potential clients, establish rapport, and schedule meetings to demonstrate PalmPay's service benefits
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' business operations, payment procedures, and pain points
• Create customized presentations showcasing PalmPay's services, features, and ROI potential tailored to each merchant's needs
• Cultivate enduring relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements to secure deals while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams (product development, customer support) to address client queries and ensure seamless implementation

Requirements

• Proven business development or sales experience
• Strong merchant engagement and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify client needs and present tailored solutions
• Negotiation and deal-closure expertise
• Knowledge of fintech, payments, or financial services is advantageous

Salary

• Base Salary: ₦70,000 monthly
• Transportation: ₦20,000
• Sales Commission: Performance-based
