About the role
Sales Representative – East Region
Bio Pharmachemie is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to grow its presence across the East region of Nigeria. This is a field-based role focused on building relationships with veterinary shops, agro-stores, pharmacies, feed retailers, and farms to drive repeat orders and account growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 5–7 physical field visits daily to veterinary shops, agro-stores, pharmacies, feed retailers, and farms
- Make 10–15 calls per day to new contacts to build a pipeline of customers
- Capture 3–5 orders daily and submit to the Customer Care team
- Open new customer accounts and reactivate dormant customers
- Send WhatsApp follow-ups to customers within hours of visits
- Build strong relationships with shop owners, distributors, veterinarians, and farmers
- Demonstrate and explain Bio Pharmachemie products (poultry, pet care, large animals, aquaculture, feed additives)
- Arrange product displays, posters, stickers, and price boards in outlets
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market activity
- Complete daily activity sheets (Excel/Google Sheets) with visits, orders, and notes
- Submit weekly field reports every Friday by 5 pm
- Record all visits and orders in the company system (ERPRev) by 7 pm daily
Requirements
Experience & Education
- Minimum 2 years as a Sales Representative, ideally in pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, agriculture, or FMCG
- OND, HND, or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field
Skills
- Route planning and self-managed field execution
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for daily reporting
- Strong phone communication and customer rapport building
- Clear, honest, and timely written reports
- Professional brand representation in pharmaceutical and animal health distribution
Qualities
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable initiating conversations with new customers
- Honest and reliable with money, stock, and reporting
- Self-driven and capable of working independently
- Problem-solver who keeps moving when obstacles arise
- Willing to travel around assigned territory daily and occasionally outside the base location
Salary
₦200,000 per month (net), plus bonus eligibility upon meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
