Storekeeper (Medical Stock)

Responsible for receiving, storing, recording, and issuing central medical stock in the MSF-OCG Abuja warehouse. Ensures items are stored and distributed according to MSF Good Storage and Distribution Practices, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports the medical team in managing stock effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue medical stock including medicines, consumables, equipment, and cold chain products.
• Maintain accurate stock records using UniField and ensure all movements are documented.
• Monitor temperature and storage conditions for cold chain items and sensitive goods.
• Perform physical stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Ensure security of the warehouse and control access to authorized personnel.
• Assist with stock reports and support other storekeepers during absences.

Requirements

• Essential: Diploma
• Desirable: Relevant degrees in pharmacy technology, supply chain, or warehouse management
• At least 1 year of experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical warehouse environments is a plus
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Excel, Word, email)
• Familiarity with UniField or similar stock management software is a plus
• Strong teamwork, quality orientation, and commitment to MSF principles
