About the role
Finance & Compliance Coordinator
The Finance & Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and supporting proposal budgeting and reporting. This role also involves supervising finance and procurement staff and coordinating audits.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate financial operations and compliance systems
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial reports
- Maintain financial records and reconcile accounts
- Ensure compliance with donor and statutory requirements
- Coordinate internal, external, and donor audits
- Supervise Finance and Procurement/Logistics staff
- Support proposal budgeting and donor financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within an NGO or similar organization
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft 365
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, internal control, and risk management skills
- Knowledge of Nigerian statutory deductions and NGO reporting procedures
- Fluency in English, Hausa, or other local languages
