About the role

Accounting Executive - Commercial Sales

Join Dragnet Nigeria's Commercial/Sales team as an Account Executive responsible for managing client accounts, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across recruitment, scholarships, assessments, and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Manage assigned client accounts and prospects
  • Support renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and account expansion
  • Engage clients to understand needs, timelines, and decision-making processes
  • Prepare and support proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial documents
  • Follow up on leads, enquiries, proposals, and pending decisions
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline with clear next steps and timelines
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, presentations, and discussions
  • Work with internal teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered
  • Provide regular updates on opportunities, engagements, proposals, and blockers
  • Support revenue growth across assigned products, services, and client segments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences, or related field
  • 3–5 years' experience in sales, business development, account management, or related commercial role
  • Strong sales and client relationship management skills
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong follow-up and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify client needs and match them to solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, opportunities, and deadlines
  • Understanding of sales pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Target-driven mindset with ownership of assigned accounts
  • Ability to work well with internal teams
  • Confidence engaging corporate clients and decision-makers

Preferred Experience:

  • B2B sales, enterprise sales, HR solutions, recruitment, assessments, training, technology, education, or professional services
  • Prior experience managing corporate clients or sales accounts
