Procurement Officer

J-Six Group is seeking a Procurement Officer to source, purchase, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain quality products at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Source, purchase, and negotiate with suppliers for quality products at competitive prices
• Liaise with vendors and compare proposals for price and specifications
• Review, negotiate, and agree contracts; monitor quality of service and products
• Ensure products ordered are received, accounted for, and processed accurately
• Assist kitchen staff to optimize raw material costs and control expenses

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field
• At least 2 years' experience as a Procurement Officer in food and beverage, culinary, or related area
• MS Office proficiency; ERP software knowledge is an advantage
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills
• Effective communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
• Outstanding numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

Salary ₦130,000 monthly (Net) + HMO
