Business Development Officer

Jobberman Nigeria Recruitment is seeking a smart, results-driven, and proactive Business Development Officer to drive sales growth, expand market reach, and build strong client relationships within the paint and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company's paint products and services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, retailers, and corporate clients
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
• Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into paying customers
• Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and product presentations to clients
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business opportunities
• Attend meetings, trade exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company's products
• Support management with business growth strategies and market expansion initiatives
• Ensure excellent customer service and prompt resolution of client complaints or concerns

Requirements

• Minimum B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals
• Good understanding of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehousing environment
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Salary

NGN 150,000 - 250,000 monthly
