Merchant Success Associate

About the Role The Merchant Success Associate (internally known as a "Bumpa Expert") is responsible for helping new and existing merchants successfully onboard, go live, and grow on the Bumpa platform. You will guide merchants through store setup, inventory management, payment configuration, and business settings to help them launch faster and operate confidently.

Responsibilities

• Guide merchants through onboarding from subscription to going live
• Assist with store setup, inventory upload, payment configuration, and delivery setup
• Manage assigned merchant accounts and track adoption metrics
• Identify growth opportunities and support merchants in increasing sales, online orders, and GMV
• Provide proactive engagement and consultative support
• Help merchants optimize platform usage and workflows
• Handle challenging customer situations and provide practical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2–3 years' experience in customer success, onboarding, account management, sales, or customer support
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Understanding of onboarding, adoption, account management, and consultative selling
• Comfortable making calls and sending follow-up communications
• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations
• Ability to use data to track performance and identify opportunities

Nice to Have

• Experience working with SMEs, merchants, e-commerce businesses, or SaaS products
