About the role

A startup is seeking a Business Development Officer to identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth through market expansion and partnership development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and referral sources
  • Create and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches
  • Build and negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align offerings with market needs
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Track performance and maintain accurate records in CRM systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare business development, contracting, sales, or partnership management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
