About the role

Sales Representative

UrbanWish Ltd is hiring a Sales Representative to lead service provider acquisition and onboarding. You will identify potential partners, pitch the UrbanWish value proposition, onboard businesses onto the platform, and ensure their listings are verified and optimized for growth. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys field sales, relationship building, and working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage service providers across UrbanWish categories
  • Pitch UrbanWish's value proposition clearly and persuasively
  • Convert leads into active service providers on the platform
  • Support providers in creating business profiles and service listings
  • Ensure accurate pricing, images, descriptions, availability, and location details
  • Guide providers through document verification and onboarding requirements
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for onboarded service providers
  • Educate providers on best practices to maximize bookings and visibility
  • Gather feedback from providers and share insights with the internal team
  • Track onboarding progress and sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and active providers
  • Contribute to weekly progress updates and field insights
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Support launch campaigns and city and/or category expansion

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
  • 1–3+ years experience in sales, business development, or field marketing
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Comfortable with in-person outreach and follow-ups
  • Ability to explain digital products to non-technical business owners
  • Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to SMEs, salons, gyms, hotels, or service businesses
  • Familiarity with online marketplaces, booking platforms, or SaaS tools
  • Experience working in service-based businesses

Salary
