Millies British International School (MBIS) is seeking an experienced Part-Time Primary Art and Design Teacher to join our team to teach one day a week. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art education within the British curriculum and a commitment to encouraging artistic expression in young learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach high-quality art and design lessons to pupils ranging from Year 1-6.
• Confidently teach children drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, pottery, sculpture, and model making techniques.
• Use computers and new technology to enhance learning.
• Foster independent, pupil-led learning.
• Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes artistic expression and appreciation.
• Assess and evaluate pupils' artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Requirements

• B.A / HND Degree in Fine Arts
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Package; especially Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent spoken and written communications skills
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
