Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the internal audit team to conduct audits of various departments and processes
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of audit documentation and workpapers
• Perform compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the identification and assessment of organizational risks
• Participate in recommending improvements to internal controls and operational processes
• Assist in preparing clear and concise audit reports for management

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Financial Management, or related disciplines
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
• Passion for learning about internal audit principles and practices
• ICAN qualification is an added advantage
